The LA Genesis 9:12-16 Pride Hat is more than just a Los Angeles Dodgers souvenir – it’s a powerful statement of faith and identity. On Pride Night, Dodgers and Giants players and their teams won rainbow lights to honor the LGBTQ+ community. But Dodgers veteran Clayton Kershaw chose to do it his own way.

Instead of protesting or avoiding it, he used a white marker and hand-wrote a passage from the Bible on the Hat: Genesis 9:12-16 – a passage that talks about the Amethyst as a sign of the covenant between God and man after the Great Flood.
